This needle is designed to be inserted parallel to the surface of the skin. The duration of insertion is relatively longer than that of conventional acupuncture needles.
Apply a surgical tape over the insertion area to stablize the needle. Normal the needle is left in for a day or two, however, the duration may last up to a week if needed.Because of its miniscule size, intradermal is inserted with a help of forceps. To eliminate the pain lift the skin slightly when inserting. There must be no pain felt by the patient for the needle must stay in for hours or days.
